HIPAA Course Content
Our course content was developed by attorneys practicing with Robinson & Cole's HIPAA Privacy Compliance Group. This group draws on the experience of attorneys with a wealth of knowledge in the health care, benefits and insurance industries. Our clients in these sectors include large employers, group health plans, provider organizations, insurance companies, and managed care organizations. The HIPAA privacy course material is the product of a collaborative effort among these attorneys working with our in house training professionals.
e-Learning Delivery System
The content delivery system is a sophisticated web application that combines the power of Macromedia Cold Fusion MX with the stability and scalability of Microsoft SQL server. System administration is intuitive and allows for maintenance of users, roles and course assignments with ease. As a hosted solution, the only requirements at the desktop are an Internet connection and Internet Explorer software (version 5.5 or higher). The student interface is designed to be user friendly, in terms of navigation. It provides the capability for the student to move linearly through the material or ad hoc for the purpose of review. A glossary of terms is a single click away and returns students to the training page where they left off.
